Capabilities

What Grading covers

Rough grading

Cut and fill to bring the site close to design elevations, moisture-conditioned and compacted in lifts.

Fine grading

Final shaping for lawns, slabs, paving and swales so water moves where it should.

Proofroll support

We provide equipment and remediate soft spots identified during proofroll or testing.

Elevations to plan

Grades checked against plan with laser/rod (machine control where the job calls for it).

Positive drainage

Grade sloped away from foundations and toward planned outlets.

Topsoil & restoration

Topsoil spread, raked and ready for seed or sod when included.

Process

Five steps, every job

  1. 1

    Consultation

Tell us the project, the property and the timing. We'll say plainly whether it's a fit.

  2. 2

    Site walk / scope

We walk the site, follow the water, check access and note anything that needs review.

  3. 3

    Proposal

A written scope built for your project — inclusions, exclusions and assumptions spelled out.

  4. 4

    Mobilize & execute

Utilities marked, protection set, then the work — with check-ins, not surprises.

  5. 5

    Walkthrough / punchlist

Grade and drainage verified with you, punch items closed, site left clean.

FAQ

Grading questions

+What's the difference between rough and fine grade?

Rough grade gets the earth close to design; fine grade is the final shaping that controls drainage and finish surfaces.

+Will you fix a yard that holds water?

Often, yes — sometimes regrading is enough, sometimes it needs drainage. We'll tell you which after walking it.

+Do you cover my area?

We work across the Delaware Valley — Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Outside that? Ask — we'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense.

+Who handles permits?

It depends on the job and the municipality. We'll tell you during scoping what's needed and who typically pulls it; engineered or permitted work is coordinated with your engineer or GC.

+Do you work with my testing agency?

Yes. We coordinate proofrolls and compaction testing and address soft areas they flag.

Ready for a site walk?

Tell us about the property and we'll set a time to walk it.
